John Henry Abel, Jr. -WARNER ROBINS - John Henry Abel, Jr., a lifetime resident of Warner Robins, passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2009. He was born in Macon on September 2, 1950. -A memorial service will be held at 11:30 A.M. on Saturday, January 2, 2010 at Second Baptist Church, Sandy Run. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service. -John was preceded in death by his parents, John and Patricia Abel. His memory will forever be treasured by his wife, Ann Timmons Abel; sons, Glenn Kemp, Bonaire, and Chris Kemp (Lucy), Warner Robins; grandchildren, Evan, Brandon, Hanna and Christian Kemp, all of Warner Robins; sister, Penny Hale (Greg), Titusville, Florida; and nieces, Wendy Ebright and Stephanie (Jim) Horning. -A graduate from Northside High School, he served four years in the United States Navy prior to earning his Bachelor's Degree from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College in Tifton. He loved the Lord and was an active member of Second Baptist Church and the Kindred Spirit Sunday School Class.
