Want to be a Website Admin NorthsideAlumni.com needs several Site Administrators to join our rapidly expanding Website Team. Ideally we will have adminstrators for each graduating class, as well as some of the other content specific areas of the site.

At NorthsideAlumni.com. we are focused on delivering a local interest website, with content that graduates of Northside High School in Warner Robins will enjoy reading or using .

Position Description: These are a part-time, for personal enjoyment only positions. There is no pay currently, but we do have plans for that in the future. Your focus would be to help manage Web site content and press releases in specific content areas. Working within the NorthsideAlumni.com Web Team, the admins are responsible for the direction and oversight of content in their assigned category. We are currently in the process of creating the site structure, and look forward to the input of the administrators.

Responsibilities

• Manage website content during the development, migration, and maintenance stages of the NorthsideAlumni.com website.
• Review content submissions ensuring no images or content that could be considered offensive by the team be approved.
• Help build and maintain web pages, folders, and navigation within our content management system.
• Ensure that the websites remain current by following up on the content providers to ensure thatregular content is being entered as agreed.
• Provide remote and/or web based training to content managers in using our content management system.
• Communicating with members via forums and e-mail.

Other Skills:

• Experience in using a Content Management System with a basic understanding of HTML is desired, but not necessary.
• Strong project management and friendly customer service skills.
• Good written communication skills.
• Ability to work creatively, remain flexible, and maintain excellent interpersonal skills in a collaborative and changing environment.
• A desire to learn the technology is important if you aren't already experienced.

Experience/Education Requirements:

• Must be a graduate, or family member of a Northside High School Alumnus
• Must be willing to attend, at no charge to themselves… online training webinars to learn the tools used on the website.
